Transcend Capital Advisors approached their move with a sense of optimism and ambition. Rather than simply transferring their operations to a new address, the firm saw the transition as a rare opportunity to reshape the workplace experience for their team. They imagined an office that would feel elevated and thoughtfully designed, a place where employees would be proud to work and clients would immediately sense the firm’s professionalism and values. The new space provided the opportunity to bring that vision to life, allowing the firm to create an environment that supports both performance and well-being.
To bring this vision to life, the firm worked with an interior design team to translate its goals into a cohesive and functional workplace. BFI was invited to participate through a competitive bid process and was ultimately selected for our ability to support both the aesthetic goals and technical requirements of the project. From the outset, our team focused on understanding how Transcend worked, how their employees collaborated, and how the new space could elevate both productivity and experience.
The project’s success depended on creating a sense of cohesion throughout the workplace. Private offices were planned with a refined and orderly aesthetic, so BRC casegoods were chosen for their clean lines and modern presence. Open office areas needed to support both focus and collaboration, which led to the installation of Herman Miller Canvas workstations paired with Tu storage. These systems provided structure while allowing the office to feel open and comfortable.
Meeting rooms became central hubs for team alignment and client conversations. They were anchored with Bernhardt and Herman Miller Headway conference tables that conveyed confidence and stability, complemented by seating from MillerKnoll, Hay, JSI, Bernhardt , National and Carolina that offered comfort and understated elegance. Each space was thoughtfully arranged to support the serious, high-trust nature of financial advisory work.
Throughout the process, BFI worked in close coordination with the interior designer to ensure that furniture selections, finishes, and placement aligned perfectly with the architectural plans. Every detail mattered, from verifying electrical needs to confirming fabric selections. Even the reception and informal gathering areas received the same level of attention. These spaces were furnished to feel welcoming and grounded so that employees and clients would feel at ease the moment they entered the office.
When the installation was complete, the new Transcend Capital Advisors office delivered exactly what the firm intended to create. The environment feels sophisticated, calm, and thoughtfully composed. Employees walk into a space that supports their workflow, elevates their experience, and reflects the pride the firm takes in its work. What began as a relocation evolved into an opportunity to reimagine the firm’s surroundings, resulting in a workplace that represents who Transcend is today and who they aim to become in the years ahead.
