Case Study: Polo Ralph Lauren

bfi-New York recently completed a project for Polo-Ralph Lauren in a boutique 5,500 square foot specialty office space located at 601 West 26th Street.

This 16th floor location with fantastic panoramic views houses a unique client business unit that imagines, designs, creates, photographs and helps market new an innovative clothing designs from the rough concept stage through mock up and photography.

Storing a wide array of unusual garments and fashion accessories and proprietary concepts in a safe, yet assessable and organized manner behind sliding glass partitions was key in the minds of the in-house Polo Design and Facilities group during this upgrade project.

Having the ability for employees to seamlessly collaborate within the office, discussing ideas and trends as well as the capacity to comfortably dialogue with other Polo-Ralph Lauren business units throughout the world was vital within the conference room environment.

Custom mill-work in designated areas
Custom glass doors engineered by Muraflex to encapsulate the exiting fabric storage mill-work bins and cabinets
Custom floor to ceiling glass conference doors engineered by Muraflex
Replace existing laminate worksurfaces on all existing workstations with new custom maple veneer surfaces
New custom mill work office in white laminate
Add additional workstations to match some existing inventory
New butcher block table desks in all other offices
New conference furniture and seating
New pantry seating
New matching bookcase units throughout
New chrome wire shelf units in storage room
