There’s a generous choice of appealing colors—light and dark neutrals, bold accents, and metallics. Veneers include wood, recut, and cathedral recut. The choice of pulls helps Tu coordinate with a range of surroundings.

Our three lines of filing and storage products—Tu filing and storage, Teneo storage furniture, and Meridian® filing and storage—provide complete and coordinated choices. They all have the versatility to handle storage needs throughout a workplace. At the same time, each has its own specialty: Tu in individual space, Meridian in community space, and Teneo in group space.

We’re Working to Get to Zero
Tu helps Herman Miller reach our sustainability goals of zero landfill, zero hazardous waste generation, and zero VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions into the air by 2020.

Tu products adhere to the McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) Cradle-to-Cradle protocol. MBDC Silver certification is pending for all Tu products. Cases are made of 100 percent recyclable steel. Metal parts are powder-coat finished, and only water-based stains are used, so they produce no polluting VOCs during manufacture. Inside Tu, recycled Ironstone finish on drawer interiors is made from up to 50 percent recycled powder-coat paint. Herman Miller purchases all woods from sustainable supplies; that means the wood must be replenished faster than it is harvested. Tu is also GREENGUARD certified and can contribute to LEED certification.
