Elizabeth, NJ (December 2009) - Harold Star, III, an industry veteran with over 25 years office furnishings experience has joined the executive sales team at BFI-New York. Harold will continue to build upon his experience having worked for both contract and middle market furnishings manufacturers as well as major dealers over the course of his career.

Prior to becoming part of the BFI-New York Team, Harold was a partner at THINKSPACENY, a Haworth preferred Dealer. Over the years he has also held executive level positions within the business interiors industries where he was able to consistently combine his skills with his know-how to create individual and corporate success as well as long term client relationships. ELIZABETH, NJ (November 2009): BFI-New York is pleased to announce that Tom Royman has joined the staff as a New Business Development Manager. He will be concentrating on government, institutional and healthcare segments. Tom’s diversified background includes (9) plus years with Steelcase-New York in various assignments including, Northeast Regional Manager for GSA Sales where he managed a ten state region plus Market Manger Level II and III Dealer Sales and NY Team Leader assignments for Steelcase. Additionally, He also spent (5) years with Haworth in a similar capacity prior to his tenure with Steelcase. Most recently Tom was a Furniture Account Manager for OM Workspace in New York.

Tom will be devoting the bulk of his time and energy within defined business segments engaging end-users, government contracting officers, healthcare facilities and material management professionals, segment specific architectural and design professionals and others.

Tom resides in Hawthorne, NY with his wife Eileen, and children, Kelly and Erin. Tom will report to Bruce Stone, Vice President.
